EDCO-The Document People and Axio Technologies, Inc. have merged to create one of the largest document management companies in the country. Specializing in record scanning and software solutions, the merger expands EDCO’s services into on-site scanning services while adding new software options.
EDCO’s investment in cutting edge, highly automated scanning processes outputs about 50,000 images every hour. Adding volume increases efficiencies and delivers new electronic options to customers throughout the country. Offices are now in St. Louis, Boston, Little Rock, Columbia, SC and Springfield, MO.
As one of the largest dealers of Laserfiche document management software, Axio Technology expands EDCO’s portfolio of software solutions. These solutions include Express Image Enterprise, OnBase, and RetrievalNet scan-on-demand and ASP options. Axio also brings to EDCO experience and knowledge of on-site scanning. This allows mid-size to large customers to outsource scanning and indexing to trained and equipped document conversion professionals without the records leaving their facility.
EDCO also owns and operates the climate-controlled SecureStore, located 100 feet underground for maximum security. The state-of-the-art facility houses millions of paper and film records that can be retrieved at a moment’s notice, scanned, and returned electronically over a secure network. When documents are no longer needed, EDCO’s destruction service uses an industrial shredder to grind the files under strict NAID AAA guidelines that protect against exposure of sensitive information.
